I just got ticked off at Razer's Synapse 2.0, so now I'm looking for new gear.

Mechanical keyboard, preference is blue cherry switches(I like the click and the clack)
Mouse, high DPI(higher=better, right?)

I'm wanting LED/lit peripherals. Quality, features, and not Razer(pissed at the synapse 2.0 crap).

Theme I'm going for is Black/Green(Matches my phantom tower).

I was looking at Roccat, but their only mechanical is blue back-lit only. Kind of a clash, blue and green.

I kind of like matching sets, so if possible, I'd like quality within a mouse/keyboard combo that fits the theme and is brand matched. I'll break brand matching before the color scheme, and I may budge on color scheme, but only while kicking and screaming. I won't go for Razer because of how ticked I am at the Razer synapse stuff(returned the Razer gear and did a clean OS install to make sure the stuff was wiped).

As the aside, I'd like to get a good quality surround sound headset. My motherboard has the 8 channel audio(6 jacks in the cluster, one of which is the mic. Is this 5.1 or 7.1?) If there are analog headsets out there, I'd be all for that. Otherwise, usb virtual surround is ok, too. My only big concern for the headset is green accent, surround, and circumaural.

I only use Razor (with no issues whatsoever), so sorry can't really recommend anything else.
Have a look at these though:

SteelSeries 6Gv2 / 7G

Ducky DK9000 / DK9008

Filco Majestouch

Both Ducky's and Filco might be hard to find.

I know it's a whiny reason, but the synapse thing is really just a way of saying "Thanks for giving us money. Now, give us yer info so we can sell it and make more." That's my problem. If I wasn't required to sign up just to use the stuff I just spent a couple hundred USD on, I'd sign up with a smile. The forced sign up is crap, in my opinion. Thanks for the advice.

Also, I'm US bound, if it makes a difference on some companies.
