Question mouse & keyboard not working while installing windows 7 on a modern machine

as title says i am trying to install win 7 from usb stick on a modern pc and mouse and keyboard dont work when i see the installing windows 7 blue screen any help?? ty

That motherboard is not supported by W7 <source>.

What do you need W7 for anyway ?
