Mouse/Keyboard work up until the Windows Log In Screen

On my brothers computer, he recently set up crossfire cards and CCC didn't have a Crossfire option, so he decided to uninstall CCC and restart his computer, planning on reinstalling when it reboots, but now the mouse/keyboard don't work in windows (but they work in the BIOS.)

See if they work in Safe Mode, if they do, go into Device Manager, uninstall all the USB devices and reboot. System should detect them again.
