Hello~
I been experiencing some weird problems lately like my mouse lagging constantly then suddenly all USBs would disconnect for 1 minimal second, and reconnect, but the mouse will still lag, is there a reason for this? What solution?

I have a Windows 8 with a EVGA 550w 80 plus PSU

This did happen before, I did a scan and removed about 10 thousand threats(I know a ton but its nothing bad), and Mobo is up to date, and the mouse is anonymous, but it is an optical mouse, I notice some lag occurring right now on my G105 keyboard and USB is 2.0

Could you try booting in safe mode *without* networking and see if it makes any difference?

I did try that before as it was a solution before to me, there was some lag but then after while It stopped, but its pretty much back, but he keyboard some what lagging is something new, are there any other solutions?

Yes it still currently exists, I even went through the power options and they were set where they should be

To the motherboard on most of the USBs, only one usb is connected to the case

ok open the windows 8 metro screen by clicking in the bottom left corner of your screen and type "view event logs" click on view event logs and then when the window opens on the left hand side double click windows logs and then click "system" now when your USB disconnects windows events log will detect this and in your event log viewer window you'll see a warning appear in the window if you click on that you will see what the system has picked up and hopefully we might identify what caused the USB to disconnect. just copy paste the details from the window to this.

Doesn't seem to be related, unfortunately I'm left to believe either something whether it be your mouse or keyboard has developed a fault with the wiring, this can occur even from normal use and if the wires fray (or more importantly touch with another wire) this would explain why it disconnects and reconnects because it "trips" or the USB from your case to the motherboard has been wired wrong often people can do this if the USB contains 4/5 pins to connect to your motherboard and it gets connected to the wrong pins.

It's not a lot of help I know but the disconnect and reconnect seems to me like the wire may be knackered, which would explain the lag as the signal is lost and then connects again but that's just my own little theory. Unfortunately I'm out of ideas at the moment... if I think of anything else that seems worth a shot I will let you know.

Well alright, I appreciate your help~!
