Mouse left click stopped working

I'm pretty confident that I have just worn it out (in a year :/) but it might not be. Logitech G400. Cut out when setting up a battle on Rome II, strangely I was able to move the selected unit but otherwise the button did nothing, tried restarting still nothing and fiddled around with a few settings in Device manager; it still didn't work properly but managed to get a few clicks out of it. Plugged into the laptop and to log in it worked fine (but could have just been one of the good clicks), but after logging in it didn't work, and after the drivers were loaded it still didn't.

Logitech claim up to 10m clicks, I'm slightly skeptical I have managed that many but I also wouldn't be at all surprised.

Any ideas?

p.s. As a quick side note, for some reason the "wake up" key on my keyboard isn't working wither now I'm back home, worked perfectly fine before leaving uni and I definitely haven't killed that key from overuse.

Take a new mouse, plug it in, does it have the same problem. If so then yes there is a different problem in your computer, most likely that Windows would need to be freshly installed. Otherwise, just be happy with the new mouse working.
