mouse lights up but cursor does not work.

I just received a HAVIT HV-MS672 2400DPI USB Optical Wired Mouse for Laptop PC, Changing 7 Colors Light. Its lights up when I plug it in but the cursor doesn't move and the laser isn't lighting up on the bottom. Weird, are there any problems in Device Manager when you open it up?

I have the same issue without a fix. I had my co-workers try it and it worked for a moment on his laptop and mine. I tried to plug it back in and restart and still not working. Pretty lights though.
