Mouse look super-jerky on Instagib CTF

Strange symptom: in the heat of action, I get major mouse lag when i move
around the mouse(look around) .You know when win2k boots up and you move the
mouse it jerks around like an 80s music video?

Happens ONLY in Instagib ctf. Strange.

Sounds like your system itself is struggling with the amount of graphics,
mouse lags like that when the system is doing heavy processing.

Is it a usb mouse?

Try switching to OpenGL, that sorted it for me.
Nothing to do with a slow system, I've got a near top end system and I still
get it. I've had it ever since I moved to AMD so don't know if it's low
level OS drivers that are the issue. I got it with Win98SE, Win2k, WinXP. It
also happened with both Ps2 and USB mice. Just a weird DirectX issue. I also
know that not everyone gets this problem but there are a few out there with
the same issue. Never happened to me on my old P3 500Mhz with a ps2 mouse,
but that's my Linux server now!!

I remember reading somfin about that, d3d on some systems is a bit iffy.
Opengl rocks. Super smooth at high res!
