I have a PC running WIndows 10
Edition Windows 10 Pro
Version 21H1
Installed on ‎2021-‎03-‎24
OS build 19043.1387
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0

I recently replaced my trackball with a Logi ERGO M575. Installation proceeded smoothly and drivers are up to date.

My problem is that periodically, I appear to lose BT connectivity. The cursor is frozen and non responsive to any movements from the trackball. At times, a second BT mouse remains responsive. After a few minutes, or longer, the trackball BT connectivity resumes. At times, I see a message pop up "Starting Bluetooth device".

Any suggestions or ideas on how to remedy this problem. Of course, it only occurs when I am in the midst of something !

Thanks in advance.

Are you working with a desktop with a bundled BT adapter or a laptop? You might want to check and see what BIOS version you're on using CPU-Z. The BIOS version will be listed under Mainboard tab. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your BT driver? When installing, I'd advise on manually installing the driver in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Ideally you should be on Windows 10 version 21H2, that's the latest version but I think your drivers are either corrupt or your BT adapter might need replacing.

Sorry, I was interrupted.....the information above is my desktop pc which is giving me problems. I've tried using some troubleshooters from Windows and Logitech to identify the problem, without success.

I had two external bluetooth usb adapter and have removed one of them (the LOGI Universal one). I still have the problems where my LOGI trackball loses connections. Normally, in a few minutes, I see a popup, bluetooth device starting. Other times, I have to reboot to restore the bluetooth function.

I've tried deleting and uninstalling the logi device...

How would I find and delete the bluetooth driver, as suggested above. My device manager shows a number of bluetooth connections and devices.

Thanks
