I have a problem in all games, that when I move my mouse it is choppy and the frames seem to hang yet in say Battlefield 4 my fps stays at about 120fps despite the onscreen jerkyness. However moving in game by using the keyboard or even a gamepad there is no problem at all.

I have just built this machine myself so this has never been working.

My mouse is a razer deathadder (was working fine on old pc) and i have tried all drivers and razer software with no luck, strangely when I put in my work mouse it had the same problem which has confused the hell out of me.

I've tried vsync but I never thought it was this as it runs fine on keyboard or gamepad.

I've dropped from 500 to 125 also in mouse settings

my build is

Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 Intel Z87
Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell)
VTX 7970 3GB
Corsair Vengeance Pro Red 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz
Seasonic G series 750w
Deathadder 3.5
blackwidow ultimate

Dunno what to do and any help would be greatly appreciated

rma'd the motherboard. still have the problem

typical, I finally save some money to be able to afford a decent PC and I'm left with a powerful word processor 🙁

am I allowed to offer a reward if someone fixes my problem on this forum? I'm desperate 🙁

Had a razer deathadder and bought a Naga to see if it would fix it. Tried my mates logitech and an old ps/2 mouse.

yeah all USB ports and even got an old ps2 mouse

also updated the motherboard drivers and bios

Hi, did you ever fix this problem as I am suffering exactly the same issue.

Many thanks

I found out I had to switch from razer because I used the majority of them and all had the same effect as what you described. It's an outer physical flaw that I think is mostly personal. What I mean is I game a little heavy handed and the razer mice don't allow for that because the contacts that touch the mouse pad are very small. I switched to logitech which areas are much larger with more contacts and now I have smooth game play again.

Versions used: Death Adder, Copper Head, Mamba, Taipa

Any luck with a solution? Having the same problem, tried all the same solutions. My FPS gaming has come to an end because of this. Keyboard movement is silky smooth but mouse movement gives me a headache quick. Logitech MX518 in my case.
