Mouse moving pixel by pixel up slowly in new Doom

I just had something really strange happen to me: while booting up the new doom (2016), I noticed that my cursor was moving up and to the right slightly pixel by pixel, very slowly (Please note it was displaying the OS "regular" cursor, not the in-game cursor). I alt tabbed out of the game and it stopped. I exited the game completely and it also stopped. I tried playing a different game (Nier: Automata) and it didn't move there either. When I started playing Doom (again) and got in game, the characters view (cross-hair) was starting to drift upwards in the same motion that the cursor was moving in game as well. I tried looking this up anywhere online, and there was no information about it there, so I assumed that this problem wasn't solely linked to the game (as I've never had this problem with the game before). I was wondering if anyone else might know any background or have any experience with such an issue? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

SOLVED:

Caused by my DS4 controller, which apparently when connected through steam allows the motion bar on the controller to act as a mouse. Since the controller was on my pillow and sliding off slowly it caused the movement. Fixed by remapping the sensor bar to nothing as opposed to mouse movement.
