Mouse no work

My mouse dosent left or right click in video games like minecraft,borderlands and games like that and im on windows 7 on a thinkpad laptop I have been dealing with this issue for 5 days and I cant take it anymore help!!!

If the mouse has been used for a long time, it may have dirt clogging the buttons. Mice can be taken apart and cleaned, but you have to be careful and know what you're doing. If it's a common model, you might find a video on how to do it via Google.
