Question Mouse not connecting

I have a logitech g602 wireless mouse which worked fine for a couple years. The other day it stopped working so I wiggled the usb adapter around and it started to work. The next day I booted up my PC and the mouse ain't working, I wiggle the usb, nothing. I found out that If I push the usb to the side it connects but if something is not pushing it, it disconnects. Later that day even if I push it, it doesn't work, I still get the windows sound that it's connected, but no response. Is my usb adpater broken? Software? Drivers? What?

Did you try new batteries? Try the adapter in another system?
