Question Mouse not tracking properly?

Hello everyone, I bought a mouse about a year ago and it was working fine. Just yesterday my mouse stopped working. For some reason it will only track if the sensor is touching the surface directly instead of being lifted slightly. If I put it on a flat surface it wont track. How do I fix this?

Did you try giving it some cheese What mouse do you have?
