Mouse not working - Follow up question

Thanks to a response form Alan regarding (my lmouse.=drv question below, my
pc is now starting up succesfully (i.e. delete mouse.drv=lmouse.drv)

But my mouse is not working, I guess I need to reinstall driver etc.

Can anyone help me out with the best place to find them, I do not have the
start up cd's

Look on the bottom of the mouse for the vendor and the model.
Then peruse the vendor's site for the latest driver.

Start your PC as normal:

GOTO System (Desktop right click or via Control Panel)

System Properties and click on the Device Manager Tab.

Make sure the Radio button is clicked to 'View Devices By Type' Go down to
the Mouse and check whether it is working OK (expand Mouse '+')
Look at mouse Properties and Update the Driver (N.B Automatic Search for
driver).

If there is a W3 connection it will access an appropriate driver on the web
and your away.

That is likely only to find drivers that are available from Microsoft - and
there aren't many of them
