Mouse not working

Can anyone help? My computer is a one month old home-built. ZOTAC H67ITX, i3 processor, 4gb RAM, Windows 7. Everything working flawlessly yesterday. This morning the USB mouse will not work. Cursor frozen in the middle of screen. Tried plugging the mouse into all available USB ports to no avail. Rebooting was no help. The mouse works just fine in another computer. Tried another mouse that failed as well. Any ideas?

unplug all other usb devices and then try.
