Hello
I decided to purchase a new thing big confused between mouse and ssd.
I want to buy razer naga epic as mouse and Samsung 840 pro 120gb as ssd. I have budget to only buy one.
Although my cheap Microsoft mouse works perfectly fine but i hate its looks. Also, i want to have a wireless mouse with 1ms response time and good looks (razer naga epic is one i chose).
But i also want a ssd since it will boost my systems speed by great extent.
The purpose is same, GAMING!!!!
What should i do for?

Solution
I doubt the speed difference will be noticeable outside of benchmarks - but you also have to consider warranty which the 840 has a 3 year warranty compared the 840 Pro that has 5 years. Although with Samsung drives you really don't have to worry about reliability you will most likely replace the drive well before it even starts to wear out. If it were between speed and size I would personally go with the 256GB 840 verses the 128gb Pro, I have a 120gb SSD and sometimes I wish I had more space to work with for applications.

Thanks for reply. But In this case, i don't care if razer naga epic is too expensive mouse. It's just that if i get mouse, i will get ssd after a little while and vice –versa.

For gaming a SSD really brings no benefit(FPS) except the few games that may have a level/map load faster but hard to say how much of a difference so as long as you know that you won't see a HUGE difference by getting a SSD for gaming. It will make everything snappier and faster though from the computer booting up faster, shutting down faster, loading programs installed on it, virus scans etc,...

But I will also recommend the SSD as well over a mouse.

Mice are very personal components for fit and function. I suggest you try one out before committing $100 to that particular purchase.
I might also be dubious about any 1ms response time claims and the benefit in gaming.

On the other hand, a SSD for the os and a couple of games will be very noticeable in everything you do. But, not so much in gaming except for level loads, and perhaps checkpoints.

So i take it as you guys recommended me to go for ssd. Ok thanks. I will now go for ssd. One more question though, samsung 840 and Samsung 840 pro have quite a price difference. I can buy samsung 840 250gb if i put a little more money to 840pro 128gb. Is there a lot of difference between two or should i go for Samsung 840 250gb?

Speeds and durability is what matters in my case.

Both cards will perform about the same. The pro might have a bit more longevity, but the longevity of the base 840 will be in the 10+ year range, so for normal desktop usage, there is no worry at all. It is only for high update environments, like servers that the added endurance of the pro is worthwhile.

In my opinion I would personally go with the 250GB to have more room compared to the speed that he Pro offers that will only be apparent in benchmarks, but the final choice is up to you.

As most people have said already, I would suggest that getting a good quality SSD is a higher priority than getting a gaming mouse. However, I also wanted to say that when you do get around to buying a gaming mouse, you might want to consider the Razer BlackAdder. It is an excellent gaming mouse, feels great, works flawlessly, and is cheaper than many other gaming mice (typically only around $50).
