Mouse pad for FK1?

What's a compatible hard plastic mouse pad for the Zowie FK1 mouse? This mouse has issues with the Steelseries 4HD pad so I'm in need of another equally as good that has no issues with tracking.

Budget is around £20-25

Try it without any mouse-pad at all to start with, you may be pleasantly surprised.

I've never used one on my woodgrain effect melamine-topped desk ever since ball-mice became obsolete.
Every optical mouse I've used has worked with perfect precision straight on the desk surface.

I suppose it depends what the surface of your desk is like, but for me a mouse-pad would be a waste of money, don't need one.
