So this sounds crazy, and it's been driving me crazy and I can't find a fix.
My mouse polling rate is directly impacting my framerate in War Thunder. It's not crazy high and even when setting it lower still impacts my performance. For reference my specs:
CPU: 5800x3D
MOBO: Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro Wifi BIOS F37e
GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 XC3 Ultra Gaming
Mouse: Logitech G502 Lightspeed
The game does fine when the cursor is not displayed but in the menus or the scoreboard whenever the cursor is displayed the FPS tanks, I've seen it go from around 150 FPS all the way down to 10. I usually play with the mouse polling rate (report rate) at 1000hz but this exacerbates the issue so recently I've dropped it to 125hz to help reduce the issue, however it still presents itself.
I cannot replicate this issue with other mice, but I don't know what their polling rate is.
