Question Mouse Problem on Windows 7

I have a Logitech wireless mouse which is proving to be a real pain. It is hit and miss whether I can get the pointer to respond to my commands, it sticks when I try to move it, and it jumps and acts very erratically, but then sometimes, like right now, it behaves ok. I bought another mouse which does exactly the same thing.

Can anyone recommend a good quality mouse which can run smoothly across the screen?

maybe it´s not the mouse but the hard drive, RAM, overheating CPU or just not a good surface you are moving the mouse on.

You can try a white paper as an underground to test it
