Mouse stopped working.

I recently built a pc and today my wireless mouse randomly stopped working and my keyboard is super laggy. I’ve tried putting it into safe mode and the keyboard is still laggy and mouse doesn’t work. Any tips? I’ve also tried using two other mice with no luck.

Edit: the mouse doesn’t work in some USB ports, in others it’s laggy but in one it’s completely fine. Did I do something wrong when putting it together?

Check for a newer BIOS for the system, make sure you have the motherboard drivers installed, chipset especially and any USB drivers. You can contact the motherboard vendor for support to see if they have anything you can try. You may need to try a clean Windows setup to rule out any software issues.
