Hey!

So starting from a couple of months ago, my Razer Mamba started stuttering like crazy. It often gets stuck and it only moves horizontally, and only gets fixed when I unplug and replug it one hundred times. Here's the strange part: it only does this on my mousepad. When I use it on my desk, it moves smoothly. When I put it on my mousepad, it stutters as shown in the video. This can sometimes be very subtle and sometimes not move at all, driving me crazy. Here's a video of it in action:

Now I have tested other mouses on the same mouse pad and they work just fine. I tested my mouse on other mouse pads and computers and it stutters on them too. It works perfect on my desk though. Yes, I have tried cleaning the sensor with a q-tip and alcohol.

Please help me with this problem, I can't afford a new mouse and I really like the Razer Mamba, I want to keep using it. And please don't tell me to use the warranty and change it, I need real solutions.

Thanks a lot!

Try uninstall that. I heard that the Synapse software causes problems sometimes, and any other drivers you may have installed for the mouse (except the generic standard ones). Proceed to use the mouse as normal and observe any problems that occur and post back here.

I uninstalled the drivers, reinstalled them, cleaned the mousepad, am using it wired already, cleaned the sensor, reinstalled Synapse. None of the
m worked.
