Hi guys! havent been here in a long time

i just want a good quality mouse that doesnt break, i tend to break mouses, im stupid and i often drop them, and they end up dying

so i need a good quality mouse that can stand me dropping it etc without breaking! i dont want any gimmicks i dont care for lasers etc, i cant notice the difference, just a simple sturdy mouse! i dont want something expensive

thanks

Solution
i think the microsoft mouse is going to be the most damage resistant. it has an edge around where the mouse buttons are which would reduce the damage from being slammed around. we have one thats about 9 years old now that still works. this is the kind of mouse you can pack in a laptop bag and take to work every day and not worry about it.

i dont think you will like the scroll wheel on the g100s or g400s. the small laptop mice from logitech are pretty durable and have normal scroll wheels though. not sure if you want a half sized mouse though.

the razer deathadder is a pretty solid mouse however its buttons are free-floating so if it got slammed around it could get destroyed. its a solid mouse but not meant for that sort of abuse. the...

that seems nice, i like the materials, it is pretty expensive tho🙁

thats more along the lines of what i want! something cheap with good build quality, sadly i cant find it anywhere, im from argentina, this is our "ebay" http://www.mercadolibre.com.ar/

thanks for the answers so far!

saw those, the first ones are used and broken, the second and the third have terrible reputation, and are used as well

for pricing i wouldnt want to spend more than $500 pesos but i can spend a little bit more if im sure it wont break, im just scared to spend that much and having it breaking

i dont think so, and if they do, taxes+shipping etc wouldnt make it worth it

you get a 35%charge and if you order something over 25u$s you have to pay an aditional 50% more including the shipping and you have to get lot of documents so you can get it, its bad :/

Wow, what if you came to the US, bought all teh parts, then put it in a suitcase and took it back?

i think you can get them with no problem in your handbag but if its in a suitcase you arent carrying with you, then you have certain restrictions, i THINK it varies with the countries

still the 35% applies if you use your credit card, to avoid it you have to pay in cash, but i imagine with the change it would be the same

why? there are plenty in there, just more expensive

there are a lot of mouses, but i your feedback in any mouse you know of that is really good quality and will withstand hits or drops! just that a simple mouse with good materials and build quality, no extra buttons, lights, gimmicks i dont need them

how about this one? says mac... but mice are normally completely universal

or this

or this (this one is wired)

you dont have to get the microsoft branded ones... but i'm not familiar with the genius or other brands offerend to you.

logitech makes some solid mice as well however the scroll wheels in their office mice are not that good anymore (they use this hyperscrolling technology so the wheels dont have "clicks" to them when you turn them). the small wireless laptop mice though are great. i've had one in and out of my laptop bag for years and it still works and isnt broken.

I'm also from argentina, and about getting something from outside our country, it's nearly impossible nowadays, and if we can, it would be really expensive (very strict importing policies since last year or so). The Genius ones are really cheap (they would be like us$5 each, for example) but break really easily and sometimes have problems with the scrolling wheel. NOGANET ones are the worse I ever saw D:
Let me chek if I can recommend one...

I would believe that this one ==> http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar/MLA-504077277-microsoft-basic-optical-mouse-blanco-_JM would be a nice mouse, good build quality, and its for only $120. It's not the most modern one, but it's the one I would recommend. I might buy one for myself right now (I have a Genius basic one, don't really like it)

Still, it would probably be safer to buy 2 mice that cost $100 each than just one that costs $500, as nowadays there aren't any really mice. They are all delicate, and it's easier to just have a backup one stored somewhre than hoping that this one won't break...

thank you guys, i prefer black, but it looks like the white one is the same and more than half the price

i play lol but i really dont get why someone would need more dpi etc, im ok with a simple mouse

what about this one? http://www.xgaming.com.ar/index.php?id_product=566&controller=product&id_lang=4# is it worth the extra?

here is a bigger selection http://www.xgaming.com.ar/index.php?id_category=31&controller=category&id_lang=4#/price-270-644 any of this worth it?

well i can get g100s for $300 and g400s $500wich look ugly

razer abysus $500

steelseries kinzu v2 $540

they are <$500 pesos tho, do you think any of those is worth it? or will not break even if i drop it? (i tend to drop it pretty often because i take the mouse to my bed 😀 😀 yeah lol and sometimes i just drop it) also i have lots of cats, so a good cable would be a plus, not a must tho

also there are ttesports, but they look gimmiky and not good quiality, maby im wrong
there is also the kinzu v2 pro $600, the kana $650, etc but they start getting expensier

i'd stay with the ms intellimouse. some of the other mice might have some nifty features but i think what matters most to you is having it be a bit harder to break.
