Mouse two finger scrolling won't work on certain apps since upgrading to windows 10

So I have an Asus laptop and am using a Synaptics driver for the mouse, since upgrading to windows 10 I have found that on some applications such as microsoft edge and on the start menu the scrolling will not work at all yet continues to work on things like google chrome etc.

Wondering if anyone knows how to solve this problem, cheers!

Give this fix a shot:

1. Go to the Device Manager.
2. Expand "Mice and other pointing devices".
3. Right-click on your touchpad (probably Asus Support Device)
4. Properties.
5. Driver Tab.
6. Roll Back Driver.
7. Restart computer.
