mouse typing 6 opening and closing when i move it....

so when i move my mouse left and right it types 6 go up and down it opens and it closes programs. is this a virus as i did download a driver from 3rd party due to madcats no longer availible. or is it my mouse is 3 years old and its on its way out. or maybe some windows setting i dont know. i have googled it and can not find anything any input would be appreciated.

i will add i have plugged it into another usb port and has kind of fixed it but every few mins it will open and close things. no number 6 though. i have also reinstalled windows. not fully but it wiped my c drive and had to reinstall all my apps and install my drivers
