Mouse wheel not working

Hello i have this mouse microsoft Wireless mouse 1000 and the wireless keyboard 800 they where a set . 1 day ago my scroll stoped working sometimes it scrolls sometimes not the wheel button works fine and everything else . I opened the mouse and cleaned it but the result is the same sometimes the scroll works sometimes not . The set is 3 years old .

try pushing it to the left or right. some mouse wheels have that function for auto scroll. maybe it will reset. if not the wheel is mechanism is broken. replace mouse.
