mouse won't lock

so recently setup dual monitors, but i have a problem in some games where the mouse simply wont lock into the game even though theyre in fullscreen mode.

i got no ingame overlays of any kind, atm im playing the total war series

I moved this to windows 8 forum as this is likely a software issue.
