I am having problems with my mouse. This has only begun today. It moves
ONLY and a straight line up and down but NOT the tiniest bit to the left or
right.
I have done the following

Deleted driver and reinstalled
Tried a different mouse
Used system restore
Ran anti virus

Nothing has changed. I have printed off Windows short cuts overview and can
now navigate my computer but an having trouble with the internet. For
example don't know how to get to the BACK button in an internet explorer
window. Can anyone help with overall mouse problem and or give me shortcuts
for navigating the net?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks very much I am unable to access attachments but have found some
explorer short cuts..
I could try and change settings but without a mouse its too much hard work.
I have managed to print internet shortcut keys. I just wish I could find
shortcut for maximise window and find out why my mouse wont work.

Thanks again for your help

Ask help in Internet Explorer. It should be the same as Back in Explorer
which you said you printed off. Print out IE's too.

Attached is a file containg ALL the windows shortcuts (but not IE). This is
a lot bigger than your list.

Alt + left and right arrow. OR View menu - Goto - Back

What kind of mouse is it? optical or with a roller ball? If roller ball
clean it properly. Loan a mouse from a friend- try it. If it works consider
getting a new mouse- optical are probably better- they really aren't
expensive for decent ones.
