Mouse works but keyboard doesn't work at all.

Okay, so I got this Rosewell keyboard as a gift for Christmas and I've had it work one time when windows was trying to find a driver update and that was the only time it worked. I've tried to install the drivers but it doesn't detect the keyboard at all.

does it work on any other computers, laptop, ps3? will any other device see it?

it doesn't work on my xbox and i don't have any other places to plug it in. the model is a RK-6000

if the xbox can't see it, and it should, I think the board is bad.
the software/drivers for it enable other features a standard keyboard cannot do, macro functions, but the keyboard should function without a driver.
