I stupidly spilled water on my Lenovo L460 mousepad and it no longer works.
Upon reboot, the Synaptics mousepad driver was visible under Device Manager > Mice and other pointing devices, but unresponsive and showed error code 10.
I tried re-installing the driver from the Lenovo website here:
The mousepad was still unresponsive after this, however, the original driver was replaced by "Synaptics Pointing Device" and I now get error code 24 (see [here]( View: https://imgur.com/a/UMcwmVy
)).
I've also tried rolling back the driver version and restoring the system to no avail.
Is there anything else I could try? It's been 24 hours since the spill, so I'm worried I've messed up the hardware
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
