MOV files encoded with icod codec (Apple Intermediate Codec)

Hello all!

I hope you have enjoyed your time at Tom's Hardware. I did.

I want to know how do I open movie files that are created by iMovie on Apple when importing from a Hard Disk-Drive HD Camera?

Only the audio would play. The video is black with an error that tells me that it cannot play icod and there is no way for me to fix this <-- what??

To convert simply renders huge files and slow playback.

So where can I get the codec for it?

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows Vista Home Premium

I'm having the exact same issue and you worded it perfectly. Thank yuou. Then it seemed no one answered. If it can't be done can someone please tell me why. I just wanna know why.
