Somehow all the files in a set of directories have become encrypted. They are fine on my original PC, but I can't copy them to my new PC.
Copy failed, was able to move them with a backup and restore software, but I can't open them.
I was using anvi folder locker software to hide these files previously, but selecting unprotect doesn't have any effect on this issue.
After restoring to the new pc, attempts to open display " read only or encrypted "
They are not only read only, so must be encrypted, the properties indicate encrypt to secure data, details show user who can access bob(bob(DESKTOP-K5490T7)
Any way to get access on the other PC ??
