Any way to do this? There's multiple profiles and not all of them are linked to google accounts. I seem to remember that in the past you could just copy and paste. But lately when i've tried all the settings vanish (bookmarks, etc).

Specifically, i've tried moving "C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data" to a different computer, and also moving individual profile folders only. Neither has worked.

Did you just try to copy the default folder?

Grab a copy of your Chrome User Profile from the old machine.

  1. Press Windows+R keys on your keyboard to open the Run dialog.
  2. Type %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data and press Enter.
  3. Copy the Default folder on to a flash drive, Dropbox or any other storage accessible by both machines.

Replace your Chrome User Profile with the profile from the old machine.

  1. Open User Data directory on your new machine (repeat the steps above).
  2. Make sure to backup and rename your Default folder to let say; Default_OLD.
  3. Paste the copy of the Default folder copied earlier.
  4. Open the Chrome browser.
  5. You now have all your bookmarks, passwords and other settings restored.
