Move Outlook Express mail to Win 7

Dead computer. Removed the drive and placed in the new computer for the purpose of running Easy transfer. Set the drive up to boot but could not due to activation within new computer. Is there a way to run Easy Transfer on an older XP drive to enable me to move the email and settings to the new computer?

Outlook express isn't compatable with win 7. You need to switch to live mail.
