Move PC files (including windows) to SSD?

I am getting a SSD and I want to know how I can move all my files including windows 10 to the SSD without reinstalling. Whats best/easiest way to do this?

You can't shift OS without reinstalling it,you'll have to format the Drive which has OS,then install it in SSD.

2 ways to do this with a new drive - Migration or Clean install

Migration - This requires that the current used space on your C drive or partition be smaller than the new SSD.
This usually works. Usually

Clean install - This requires that you have the install media and OS license key.
Install on the new drive. You will also have to reinstall all your applications
This always works.


How large is the SSD, how much total used space on the current C partition, and how 'old' is this install?
