Thanks for the advice on the previous situation. Here's another that
I'm wondering about:

RUS A War - Sil
RUS A Gal S A War - Sil
RUS A Ukr - War
RUS A Mos S A Ukr - War

GER A Lvn - War
GER A Pru S A Lvn - War
GER A Sil S A Lvn - War

My guess is that War - Sil succeeds; because it succeeds the support
from Silesia is cut (even though the support is being given into the
space from which it is attacked), so it's a standoff in Warsaw, and
Warsaw remains empty at the end of the turn?

Thanks -

You analysis is correct. Support can be cut by the space for which the
support is given, if the supporting unit is dislodged.
