My friend has a 64GB SSD and 500GB HDD. I configured Steam to install to the D: drive which is the 500GB hard drive but it's starting to fill up so I'm going to swap it with a 1TB instead. If I move all the data over to the new drive and install it as the D: while removing the old drive will Steam just work when I power on the computer or will it need to rescan for game files? I'm hoping it will just work since everything pointing to the D: drive should point to the bigger drive but I'm not positive.
