Move to intel or stick with new AM3+?

I need to upgrade my motherboard. My current ASUS Sabertooth 990fx 2.0 is prematurely slowing down a bit and I'd like something new. I've seen new AM3+ motherboards from ASUS and MSI and they look pretty good, but should I spend a bit more cash and go intel instead?

Current setup is an non-overclocked FX-8350, 16gb of gskill ram @1600 mhz 9-9-9-24 (will probably reduce to 8gb), and an ASUS Sabertooth 990fx 2.0. Thanks!

Yourecrunning a non-overclocked 8350 on a sabretooth board ?? That's pretty sacrilegious in all honesty mate , get a good cooler, overclock the ass off it. There aren't many boards that are really better than what you have.
That system will see you out for another year easily, I'd wait & see what zen brings to the table.
"Prematurely slowing down"? Never heard of that one in regard to a motherboard. The Sabertooth is a pretty solid board - have you done any investigation as to what might be the problem? Could be completely not related to it. If the system is slowing down (but not failing completely) its most like the operating system. If it turns out to be the motherboard you do have a five year warranty.

Very true I could have misspoken or just being over sensitive lol. I also wish to have a few new features that the newer motherboards have. I'm planning on giving/selling this motherboard to a friend of mine anyway, and I'd also like to match colors.

Yeah I've never been able to get my 8350 past 4.4 even with voltage raising. Quite annoying indeed, plus for some reason it gets really unstable around there if my RAM isn't specifically at 1600mhz
