Move Windows 8 to SSD from HDD w/out loss of files.

I currently have Windows 8 installed on a HDD and would like to move it to an SDD. My question is: If I use my install disk to put a clean version on the SSD is there a way to then remove just the OS from the HDD without losing my files (games, videos, music, documents, programs, etc.)? Any and all advice is welcome!
