Idk what happened but I moved all my steam games from my Internal HDD 1TB that I got last month and moved them to an external 2TB HDD I had since late 2015 I would say and I used to have my xbox games on it but i erased them and moved my steam games there and after 3 hours of waiting my load time has gotten significantly longer ive only played 1 game so far which is GMOD and on my 1tb hdd it would take me 1 minute to load gmod and also join a server now on the 2tb hdd it took me 1 min to load gmod and another 2 to join the server... is there a way to fix this or will i need to move all my games back to my other harddrive?

Solution
Maybe your 2 TB HDD is of the slower 5400 RPM variety while the 1 TB HDD is of the faster 7200 RPM type. A lot of the times 2 TB hard drives are of the slower kind. It could also just be that your model just has lower read/write speeds. It might help if you could find out what kind of HDDs you have.
