Hello all,

I have a bit of a difficult question today. I'm changing over from a hard drive to an SSD and have the OS installed on both at the moment (Windows 8.1, same disc used). The strange thing is, when booting from the SSD my boot up is a little different. On the hard drive it goes to BIOS then directly to login, but on the SSD it has a couple of intermediate steps such as a black screen with a small, flashing bar (almost like an old DOS boot prompt line) and also the Windows screen with the rotating, dotted circle for about a second. Overall the boot process is faster, but I'm a little worried that something isn't right. Does this sound like an issue or that something's not working properly?

So far I haven't seen any issues when working on the new drive, but obviously I don't have much installed on there yet, either.

Also, I have run all of the Windows updates that were needed to get it to the most recent.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
