Question Moved internal parts to new case now window in recovery

I moved my old pc parts from one case to the other due to the fact that my son wanted to game on the pc, which i had to install a larger CPU fan. Connected everything fine but at boot up it took me to windows 10 recovery options. I am not sure what happened, is this common for this to happen?

specs;
ASRock H77M LGA 1155 Intel
Intel Core i5-3570K
Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB SSD
Noctua NH-U14S
XFX ProSeries P1-450S-X2B9 450W

Not IMO but then I make sure to shutdown the PC before I work on it's insides. If you took someones word for it then this may be the cause. It may have just been sleeping.

After looking around the the power sata cable on the hard drive was lose., not sure what to it but that power sata doesn't stay in in the hard drive, i had to use a different one.

That's a known failure in Sata connectors, little plastic tabs snapping off or breaking, leaving the connector at the mercy of gravity.
