So I booted up my PC with the CMOS jumper on clear so I impulsively decided to move the jumper back to its regular position. Computer instantly shut off. Now when I try to power on only my fans turn on and not my motherboard. The fans would only turn on after i took off the jumper completely. I have an asrock extreme4

Solution
Try and remove the CMOS battery for at least 15 minutes, then have the jumper in it's default position(as shown in the manual) and then replace the CMOS battery. See if that helps. If not, then you might've caused the jumpers to short. Every board maker has a clear warning to operate any loose cables and jumpers with the system powered off, never running.
