Moved to a new apt - PC not working - works at Microsoft Store

I have a bizarre issue. I moved to a new apartment, plugged my MicroCenter built PC - it powers on, fans start spinning and it suddenly dies, before it comes on again, but - there is no output on the monitor.

I went to Microsoft store to troubleshoot it and sure enough it works there. Powers on with no dying and full display output.

Things I tried:
- new surge protector
- new UPS backup
- new HDMI cable for the monitor
- tried different outlets

Nothing seems to be working. Though it worked fine at the store. Any idea what could be the issue?

Solution
get a good powerline regulator to plug it into.

that's what i would plug into the wall. then power your surge suppressors off that.

these are the ONLY surge suppressors I trust, and guarantee up to 50,000 dollars should anything be damaged while plugged in, even by lightning.

I worked for a power company for several years in the past, Tripp Lite is the only brand they trusted too. Line regulation and surge.

This setup was working before I moved, so it can't be monitor...

I also reset CMOS battery for 20 minutes, but no luck either.

Yeah it was the first topic that popped up when I was googling this issue and made me get the UPS backup to try and see if the battery backup would help stabilizing the voltage but no, it didn't help.

i'm going to get a new power cord and if it doesn't help, bring entire set up back to microsoft to try and see if PC works there. if so, then I will be looking forward to my current lease ending soon and moving to another building!

Is this a prebuilt or a self built? Either way I would check the PSU first to make sure it's not a bad power supply.

Sounds like it could be a PSU problem. If you take it to the store I'd ask them about the included PSU and whether or not it can be replaced without voiding the warranty.
