Question Moved user folders too new drive now PC takes forever to turn on

So i saw a post about going into properties and changing the default folder locations from ssd to my second hdd. at first it seemed ok, but apparently I didnt read completely and now my PC takes like 20 minutes to boot from the original like 20 seconds.

I believe I restored everything(or atleast most) back to defaults, but it didn't fix the long boot up.

Is this a simple fix?(I sure hope so)

im running a windows 10 system with a gigabyte mb, 250gb ssd and 2 tb hhd.

I went to properties >location > move and moved everything to a folder on the new drive( but that file name seemed to have disappeared after I moved it)

I only moved downloads, my pictures, documents, and desktop.... and then put them back following the same as above.

If you disconnect the PC, does the symptom continue?

Have you run any diagnostics on the HDD?

I have restarted the PC and that doesnt fix it. I ran the scandisk and it showed no errors.

Possibly scannow.

Open an Admin command prompt
Type in sfc /scannow
Enter and let it run

So I ran scannow, it found an error and repaired it... I restarted 2x and still have the same issue.

BTW thank you for your help i appreciate you taking the time to assist me.

So I used event viewer as per a web page suggestion via google and I have a bunch of errors. the website ( https://techrapidly.com/fix-windows-10-ssd-boot-time-decrease-ssd-boot-up-faster/ ) says to look at event id 100 for start up. I have 3 crititals and 2 errors for today....... does this help me with anything?
