Movement in games

No matter what game im playing, as long as asdw is used to move, i cant move to the right using "D" if im holding down Ctrl. this wouldn't be an issue except that i use Ctrl for sprinting in most games. any idea why this would be?

Go into your game and set the buttons up correct.

How many other keys are you holding down while pressing CTRL+D? There shouldn't be any issue with that key combination alone.
