Hi everyone. I first joined this forum in 2011. You all were extremely helpful then. It is now January 2015 and I need your help again. I purchased a new Dell Venue 11 Pro Tablet, Windows 8.1. It has an SD card slot up to 128 GB capable. I use this tablet for business and pleasure, especially when flying. Here is the problem. I am trying to transfer some movies I have saved on my Desktop storage drive. These are old movies which I own. They are all mpg & mpg2 files. My old desktop had Windows xp Pro and I could transfer ANY AND ALL files to a SanDisk SD card using my Dynex Memory Card reader. I cannot completely transfer mpg video files from my current Desktop to the SanDisk Ultra Plus SD Card using the Dynex Memory Card Reader. The file "partially" transfers to the SD Card (about 420 MB). I then attempted to transfer the files using the Dynex File Transfer Adapter (USB) with the same result. In both cases I receive the following error message. "Error: 0x8007045D The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error." I then tried and succeeded to transfer other files such as pics, music and other data. I am not sure what is wrong with these mpg video files. I played them on my desktop using wmp without any problems; they played completely through. I am an Ancient and need all the help you can give on this one. I searched the forums and could not find information on this issue. Here is my System information.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I forgot to say that my files are already stored on an internal 1 TB SATA storage drive. I like your little saying, its cool.

In that case, try a different SD card.
