I have been wanting to move my desktop to a small form factor for a few reasons, but because it has been a while since the cpu came out, it is difficult to find any motherboards of decent quality. Does anyone know of any good motherboards still available, or should I not even bother trying?

Solution
Newer 300 series motherboards will not work. 200 series boards are not made anymore and thus are hard to find.

I would personally sell the current I7 and motherboard. These go for way more than they really should. For the same money you could buy a new Ryzen5 or I5 plus motherboard.

Your i7 alone will go for about the same money as this new CPU+cooler+board above. That CPU performs like an I7 8700k, so you would get a performance bump as well.
