Moving a cloned hd

I cloned my hd for a buddy who did something to his computer which made it impossible to install a fresh copy of windows for some reason. I tried windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7 and even VISTA. Nothing would work so i cloned mine and i keep getting errors due to drivers and i have no clue what to do. PLEASE HELP I need answers fast as he needs his pc back asap.

His pc:

gigabyte h110
gtx 1050ti

my pc:
i5 6500
gigabyte h170
r9 380

Moving a drive with an OS to a different PC often does not work. Clone or no clone.
As you have found out.

What is preventing his system from booting up a Windows install? Maybe try a Linux LiveCD?
