Hello :)

Currently, I have this modem, and I was wondering how I could move it from the bottom of my house in this tight corner that for some reason was installed there, to a more central location inside my house. Is there are special requirements to where I have to install it? Currently, I have Cable so will that play a factor? Any answers would be very much appreciated! If you need me to specify any details ask away :)

As long as you have a CTV outlet at the new location it should work, EXCEPT often times the cable router is where is because the desire to insert the router before any active cable amp/booster, if the said booster doesn't have 2-way return. It's a "cleaner" install, signal-wise. In this scenario:

CTV IN -> INTERNET ROUTER -> CTV ACTIVE BOOSTER -> TVs.

So... do you have a CTV booster in the house, and is it one with a 2-way return?
