Hi everybody,

this is my current config:

APU AMD A8 - 7670K
ASUS A88X - GAMER
Kingston HyperX Savage 2400MHz 2 x 8GB
Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB ( running Windows10 64bit OS )
Toshiba DT01ACA100 ( for storage )
Chieftec 500W PSU

I'd like to "move" to Intel config soon, and my favorite pick would be i5-4690K. I'd also like to add a PCI-E card when I discard the APU. I was thinking about getting Gigabyte GTX750Ti, just so I could enjoy a bit of a gaming here & then.

Could anyone suggest to me a good ( or let's say - great ) motherboard which would have 0 compatibility issues with my current config? I use my PC mostly for work, so stability and reliability is a must.

Also, even though PSU calculating web apps do keep showing me I have a decent and stable PSU for adding a PCI-E card, do you think that I'll be needing a more robust one as well ( say 600W )?

Thanks!

Just so you know... the i5-4xxx (Haswell) line is now obsolete and uses an obsolete socket. Still a powerful platform, but you should really be looking at current platform; Skylake (i5 or i7-6xxx CPUs and boards with the LGA 1151 socket)
